The Park School
Brookline, Massachusetts

Chan Krieger Sieniewicz embarked on a campus and facilities master plan for a 500-student independent lower and middle school in Brookline, Massachusetts. The plan consists of analysis and assessment of the existing 26-acre campus and 150,000 square feet of academic and administrative facilities. Aspects of the study include recreation fields, playgrounds and campus open space, parking and vehicular circulation, and recommendations for facility expansion based upon a comprehensive program analysis.

The master plan also includes a strategic study of adjacent properties available for acquisition and an in depth analysis of the school's development constraints and opportunities. The plan is governed by the challenges of balancing the school's need for growth while preserving the integrity of a contemporary building within a traditional, bucolic landscape.
