Chan Krieger Sieniewicz is providing architectural design services, in association with Cannon Design, for a new in-patient care facility for Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston. It will be a cardiovascular focused complex, housing 150 in-patient rooms, in both traditional med/surg and intensive care configurations. The $150 million, 10-story facility will incorporate twelve operating rooms connected under Francis Street to the main campus, a radiation oncology suite with 8 linear accelerators and, as currently planned, extensive public spaces connected back to the main campus across a bridge. The expected completion date for the building is 2008.
